Innovative blend debuts at Gurugram, says CYK Hospitalities
GURUGRAM, Nov 13 (The CONNECT): A new dining experience, Thamel, celebrating the fusion of Western sophistication and Himalayan warmth, has made its debut at AIPL Joy Central, Sector 65, Gurugram, CYK Hospitalities announced.
Founded by entrepreneur Piyush Agrawal, Thamel – named after the Kathmandu’s tourist and cultural hub – promises to bridge the flavours and spirit of Himalayan cuisine with the elegance of global dining. The concept draws inspiration from Agrawal’s deep connection to his Himalayan roots and his passion for contemporary culinary experiences.
CYK Hospitalities, a leading F&B consultancy, partnered with the founder to bring the vision to life — from concept creation and menu design to hiring, training, and complete brand development.
Rooted in locally sourced ingredients, Thamel’s menu spans a rich range of Himalayan favourites such as momos and laphing, alongside refined continental dishes, complemented by specialty coffee and a curated beverage list.
“Thamel is more than a restaurant — it’s an emotion that connects my heritage with a modern twist,” said Agrawal.
Pulkit Arora, Director and Culinary Expert at CYK Hospitalities, added, “We wanted to create a space where authenticity meets innovation — a destination that feels both familiar and fresh.”
