Beyond a café—an ambient escape designed to restore and energise staff
BANGALORE, Dec 1 (The CONNECT) – Integrated design and build firm Brawn Globus has completed Accenture’s new BDC7C Food Court in Bangalore, delivering a 20,000 sq ft nature-inspired dining hub that places employee wellbeing at its core. Finished in September 2025, the project showcases the firm’s ability to create aesthetic, functional and deeply human-centric spaces under a turnkey Design & Build model.
Envisioned as more than a conventional café, the food court has been designed as an experience meant to calm, refresh and rejuvenate. Brawn Globus anchored its concept around the theme “where the forest meets the ocean,” blending earthy materials, soothing palettes and organic textures to bring warmth and tranquility into a high-performance corporate setting. The space uses natural light, fluid planning and abundant openness to maintain a constant sense of visual and emotional connection with nature.
The food court functions as a social hub that encourages informal interaction, reflection and collaboration. Vibrant seating clusters allow employees to choose between quiet corners and active zones, while acoustic ceilings ensure comfort even during peak hours. A wave-inspired ceiling treatment reinforces the forest-meets-ocean narrative, complemented by cane lighting and rhythmic light patterns that add softness, movement and visual harmony to the environment.
Every design element is intended to help employees pause, recharge and feel genuinely cared for—a reflection of Accenture’s global emphasis on people-first workplaces.
Executed end-to-end across civil, interior, lighting and acoustic disciplines, the project balances efficiency with sensory experience, setting a new benchmark for experiential workplace dining in India.
