PM Narendra Modi stresses on door-to-door messaging about the BJP government’s good governance
NEW DELHI, Jan 17 (The CONNECT) – Just 400 days left.
With this message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today blew the riling BJP’s bugle for the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.
Addressing the party national executive, Modi asked the BJP members to go door-to-door and spread the message of good governance of the past 10 years as compared to the previous governments’ misrule.
Briefing the media about Modi’s speech, senior party leader Devendra Fadnavis said the PM wanted the partymen to reach out to the voters in the age bracket of 18 years to 25 years and explain the BJP government’s achievements.
Political observers attach huge significance for this clarion call for door-to-door messaging and say it is obviously prompted by the huge response the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi evoked all along the route so far.
It is also significant that some national media channels have started taking note of the yatra and covering it, a political analyst pointed out.
Giving a new twist to the party philosophy, Modi said BJP is not a mere political organisation, but an outfit working for the socio-economic revolution. Hence it is imperative for the partymen to reach out to all sections of the society.
