Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Announces a 12-week Online Meditation Course
MUMBAI, July 5 (The CONNECT) – NIRF-ranked Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the launch a 12-week online meditation course "Mastery Over Mind." The programme provides participants with insights into managing stress, enhancing mental well-being, and achieving inner peace and harmony through the practice of meditation.
Brahmachari Achyutamrita Chaitanya, Principal school of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, said in today's fast-paced world, stress has become a pervasive issue that affects our overall well-being. Through The Mastery Over Mind programme, she said, “we aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and practices necessary to achieve mental well-being and lead happier, more fulfilled lives”.
The course fee is INR 3500 (including GST)/ $300 for the entire programme.
Through consistent practice, individuals can cultivate clarity and peace, leading to increased happiness and compassion in their lives. The course consists of three modules, with live interaction sessions and quizzes conducted by experienced mentors after each module.
Participants will have access to numerous tools and guided meditation practices that will help them manage stress, enhance mental well-being, and foster a greater sense of happiness and compassion. The programme also features self-paced learning, video talks by esteemed monastics and faculty of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, weekly step-by-step guided meditation practices, six free webinars and Q&A sessions, as well as reflective questions, activities, and community discussions.
The first batch of Mastery Over Mind online meditation course, scheduled to start on July 16, is open to individuals of all backgrounds. A working knowledge of English is required to fully engage with the course material.
