MUMBAI, Aug 2 (The CONNECT) - Diagnostic and preventive healthcare service provider Thyrocare, has obtained National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation for nine of its additional processing laboratories in Bhopal, Guwahati, Bangalore, Chennai, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Lucknow and Ranchi. With this accomplishment, Thyrocare now has a total of 18 NABL-accredited labs across India, a remarkable 64% of its entire lab network is NABL-accredited, and this number continues to rise.
NABL is a formal recognition given to labs. It is the sole accreditation body authorized by the Centre that provides a third party assessment of quality and technical competence of labs.

This survey which was conducted pan-India and included doctors from various specialties was published in IJARIIT - International Journal Of Advance Research, Ideas And Innovations In Technology - in May 2023.
