Paytm Donates 150 Laptops For Anurag Thakur’s NGO

For Education of Hamirpur’s Rural Children

The laptops will be used for enhancing the interest level of the students in learning new concepts in Minister Anutrag Thakur's constituency.

HAMIRPUR, HP, SHIMLA, Jan 20 (The CONNECT) - Paytm Foundation has donated 150 laptops to teachers and students associated with the BJP leader Anurag Thakur’s Ek se Shrestha programme in his Lok Sabha constituency Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh,

The laptops, donated through Act to Transform Foundation, will help 2500+ students associated with Ek Se Shrestha Programme, spread across 120 panchayats. Paytm Foundation also committed to digitize receipt of various payments at the Panchayat office of Hamirpur.

Ek se Sreshtha initiative was launched on October 5, 2021 focusing on the holistic development of children between 7 and 12 age groups by giving them after-school education. Within one year, the organisation impacted the lives of more than 2,500 children across their 120 centers. Paytm Foundation shall further train teachers and students on effective use of laptops and software for educational purposes.

Thakur, Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Youth Affairs & Sport, lauded the efforts made by Paytm Foundation. The laptops will be used for educational sessions and increase the interest level of the students in learning new concepts.
