NEW DELHI, Aug 11, 2020 : Signalling a resilient mood among Indian companies as regards trade normalcy in a post-pandemic era, over 85 premier Indian companies  participated in Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organised virtual trade exhibition.
The “Online Summer Sourcing Week comprising 9 Trade Fair” from 27 July to 7 August provided a one-stop cross-industry online sourcing platform, opened new opportunities for global exhibitors and buyers during the pandemic. 
The 9-in-1 virtual trade exhibition was across verticals like lighting, electronics, information and communication technology, gifts and premiums and houseware. 
Hit by pandemic driven travel restrictions, over 85 Indian companies like Adani M2K Project and LLP, Gurgaon, Bajaj Electricals Ltd., Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Giftmart, Mahindra Engineering and Chemicals Product Ltd, Smartserve Houseware Pvt Ltd, Tata Croma, Infiniti Retail Limited, Amazon India, Max Healthcare Institute Limited etc. attended the virtual fair to boost business and explore global opportunities.  
Summer Sourcing Week worked as an integrated service platform with a variety of new functions helping buyers to acquire all-round product and market information. The exhibition enabled connections and brought opportunities on HKTDC’s AI enabled Online business matching platform. A variety of cross-industry products displayed on the platform, including a wide range of anti-pandemic smart houseware and lifestyle products that can fuel business opportunities presented by the stay-at-home economy.
