Chumbak-Relove Tieup To Reduce Carbon Footprint

Circular Tech Product To Enable Resale

Relove allows Chumbak customers to re-sell their pre-loved Chumbak products to interested buyers

BENGALURU, Mar 14 (The CONNECT) – Bangalore-based design-centric brand Chumbak has onboarded circular technology product Relove that powers fashion brands with technology to enable the resale and liquidate damaged inventory.

Relove allows Chumbak customers to re-sell their pre-loved Chumbak products to interested buyers on the Chumbak website.
Chumbak was founded in 2010 by husband-wife duo Shubhra and Vivek with an intent to bring contemporary Indian design to your everyday Home and Lifestyle. Today, their design mission has evolved to showcase cultures and artforms from India and across the world in our unique, joyful handwriting. Their production units encourage local manufacturing, allowing for better quality control while positively impacting community livelihoods.
Vasant Nangia, CEO, Chumbak stated with Relove, the brand is taking its commitment to conservation a step further by enabling our customers to sell their preloved Chumbak products “on our platform”.

The initiative to encourage peer to peer sales of pre-loved items adds to their mission of embracing sustainability as a core brand intent. While the industry is seeing apparel at the forefront, Chumbak hopes to add to the product assortment by encouraging customers to list laptop sleeves, bags, watches, cushion covers and furnishing.
Kirti Poonia, Co-founder, Relove said, with advanced technology, newer sustainable models are possible in retail. “This is a big step towards reducing the brand’s carbon footprint while helping its customers,” Poonia said.
