Direct flights between Bengaluru and Kathmandu from June 1
NEWDELHI, May 30 (The CONNECT) – Extending its footprint in the subcontinent, Air India Express is set to launch direct flights between Bengaluru and Kathmandu.
Operations on this exclusive route will commence on 1st June 2025. Bookings are now open on the airline’s award-winning website, airindiaexpress.com, and other major booking channels, with attractive inaugural fares starting at INR 8,000 for Xpress Lite and INR 8,500 for Xpress Value.
Kathmandu, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, is renowned for its unique blend of ancient heritage and natural beauty. From the sacred Pashupatinath Temple (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to being a gateway to Everest treks, the city is a hub for both spiritual and adventure tourism. The new route also enables convenient one-stop connections to Kathmandu via Bengaluru from 20 cities across India, Amritsar, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Goa, Gwalior, Hindon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jammu, Jaipur, Kozhikode, Kochi, Mangaluru, Pune, Srinagar, Surat, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvananthapuram, and Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada as well as from two international cities: Abu Dhabi and Dammam.
