MUMBAI, Apr 23 (the CONNECT) – Sakshi presents a Sbox production, Ghat Ghat Mein Panchi Bolta Hai, a play that fearlessly confronts the unsettling truths of violence and abuse in our homes. Silence often overshadows this reality, even in the most educated and privileged circles. With unflinching honesty, the play aims to question this silence and denial that comes at an immense collective cost. A theatrical production, Ghat Ghat Mein Panchi Bolta Hai is set to grace the stage on April 26, at the Veda Kunba, Cintaa Tower, Andheri West, Mumbai at 9:00 p.m.
Through the intertwined stories of seven lives, the play delves into the profound impact of generational trauma, the erosion of societal values, and the burden of collective denial. Ghat Ghat Mein Panchi Bolta Hai serves as a resounding wake-up call, urging audiences to confront the grave consequences for a society that chooses to avert its gaze from uncomfortable truths.

Founded in 1992, Sakshi has been actively working for the past three decades to prevent gender-based violence and discrimination. They are committed to contributing to legislation, policies, and practices that promote and protect equality as a fundamental human right.
