Wishes and Blessings cupcake drive emphasises addresses the emotional needs of children.
NEW DELHI, Feb 15 (The CONNECT) – For the third Valentine’s Day in succession, Delhi-based NGO Wishes and Blessings has embarked on a mission to celebrate love in a profound and heart-warming way by organising a cupcake drive that left a lasting impression on the lives of over 1,200 underprivileged children across Delhi and the NCR.
The drive, held on February 13th and 14th, aspired to do more than just distribute cupcakes; it sought to convey a powerful message: that these children are cherished, valued, and worthy of love, bringing moments of joy and happiness into their often-challenging lives.
The #WBCares team, in collaboration with various contributors, distributed cupcakes in locations such as Madipur, Delhi Cantonment, Moolchand and Nehru Place, acknowledging that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to experience the warmth of love on Valentine’s Day.
Dr Geetanjali Chopra, Founder and President of Wishes and Blessings, said the success of the #WBCares campaign emphasises the importance of recognising and addressing the emotional needs of these children.
