Volunteer Prateesh Gandhi donates for the 36th time as Yogiraj Sarkar Godariwale Trust collects 120 blood units
NEW DELHI, Apr 11 (The CONNECT) – In a noble gesture to the Indian Army, the Yogiraj Sarkar Godariwale Trust, organized a blood donation camp
About 160 donors to come forward and contribute to the cause on April 7, 2024. Despite the overwhelming response, the camp adhered to the principle of collecting 120 blood units only as per the projected requirement for the day.
The trust, guided by its core principle of First Serve Then Deserve, has been serving the community for several years. appreciated the active participation.
One standout volunteer Prateesh Gandhi has donated blood 36 times. Commanding Officer of Armed Forces Transfusion Centre (AFTC), Col Sunita BS lauded Gandhi’s contribution
“You cannot go out to buy it but can only be donated. That is why, in times of war or conflict when a soldier needs blood, your contribution to this blood drive becomes crucial. Your donation not only supports the soldier but also serves the nation,” Col Dr Sunita said.
Yogiraj Sarkar Godariwale Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community through various initiatives aimed at promoting health, education, and social welfare.
