Maha CM Shinde hails memorising of 1000 things on the spot, announces Saraswati Sadhana in State schools
MUMBAI, May1 (The CONNECT) – Jain Monk Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj has etched his name in history by achieving a feat known as Sahasravdhan, where he memorized 1000 things on the spot.
This highlights the boundless potential of the human mind when cultivated through meditation and concentration. Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj’s journey to this pinnacle began with Shatavadhan (memorizing 100 things), progressing to Dwishatavadhan (200 things), and eventually mastering Mahashatavadhan (500 things).
Addressing the event held at NSCI Stadium in Worli, Mumbai, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde lauded the monumental achievement.
He announced that the state government will introduce Saraswati Sadhana in schools soon. This will motivate them to be successful.
Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj was conferred the title of “Sahasravdhani” by High Court Justice Tated upon completing the 1000 Avdhan, a feat not accomplished in over 650 years among Jain monks.
Under the guidance of Acharya Shri Nayachandra Sagar Suriswarji Maharaj, he demonstrated exceptional prowess in memorization from a young age, culminating in the historic Sahasravdhan-1000 Avadhan.
