Post the Pran Pratistha ceremony, around 8 lakh devotees had the privilege of darshan during the first two days
AYODHYA, Jan 26 (The CONNECT) -In view of the large flow of devotees visiting Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony, the Yogi government is building a sprawling Tent City to accommodate about 25,000 devotees.
Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal inspected the Tent City being  biult by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation in the Greenfield Township on Thursday to ensure that the place has all the basic facilities.
Instructions were given to put numbers on all the beds in the dormitories, ensure an adequate number of mobile charging points, and so on
Dayal said all standards of safety, including electrical and fire, would be followed in the tent city with sufficient ventilation.
He directed to ensure the availability of drinking water, maintain continuous cleanliness of the toilets and the premises.
The roads within the Tent City have varying elevations, posing a risk of waterlogging during rainfall. Therefore, instructions were given to fill all potholes and use a roller to make the roads smooth.
Post the Pran Pratistha ceremony, around 8 lakh devotees had the privilege of darshan during the first two days. These devotees are now gradually returning to their native places. Concurrently, in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directives, the district administration and police force are actively facilitating the departure of returning devotees in an orderly manner. Furthermore, new devotees arriving are also being provided easy darshan.
Committee: A committee, established on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is overseeing the arrangements for the in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. This committee, led by Uttar Pradesh Government’s Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, includes key officials such as the Chief Secretary, DGP, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, and the Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department.
