International Yoga Day celebrated with enthusiasm all acoss
MUMBAI, June 21 (The CONNECT) – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga today, organizing sessions across its5 Regional Councils and 176 branches.
As a trusted partner in nation-building, ICAI has been celebrating International Day of Yoga (IDY) since 2015.
In New Delhi, a Yoga Session was conducted by Yog Gurus from Bharitya Yog Sansthan wherein CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, president of ICAI; CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, vice-president of ICAI, CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, past president, ICAI along with Central and Regional Council Members of ICAI performed Yoga.
Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President of ICAI, stated, Yoga embodies the values of discipline, focus, and balance, which are integral to the Chartered Accountancy profession.
Mumbai airport: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) celebrated International Yoga Day and travellers and airport staff participating e in a serene session at Terminal 2 in collaboration with Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti Yoga Institute. The event, aligned with this year’s global theme “Yoga for Self and Society,” featured meditation, travel-friendly asanas, and techniques to enhance passenger well-being, creating a calm, reflective environment before boarding their flights.
Heartfulness: Over 2000 yoga enthusiasts and practitioners from various communities turned up at Kanha Shanti Vanam – the headquarters of Heartfulness in the outskirts of Hyderabad to celebrate the tenth International Day of Yoga (IDY) with great enthusiasm. The PNB Parivaar united across various zones, circles, and the PNB Head Office, participating in early morning interactive yoga sessions. These sessions emphasised stress management, relaxation techniques, and breathing exercises, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to holistic well-being.
