HYDERABAD, Aug 14 (The CONNECT) –Zero Trust is no more optional but has become imperative in view of the rapidly rising cyber security threats.
This was the conclusion that was arrived at the end of a thought leadership session on Cyber Security – The Road to Zero Trust – In a Hybrid Work Environment.
Over 100 Cyber Security & Information Security professionals apart from Cyber enthusiasts attended the session organized by Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) as part of its series. These 90-minute Leadership Sessions are aimed at bringing Cyber Security professions up to speed on latest trends.
Addressing the participants, Commissioner of Police-Cyberabad VC Sajjanar said there is a major shift of Crimes from Conventional modes to Digital world.
IGP-IT Cell Intelligence Rajesh Kumar, IPS., said one should not wait for a major attack on Cyber World and act reactive, rather one should proactively work to create deterrence to protect vital systems.
Krishna Yedula, Secretary General SCSC said it is important for the industry and academia to come together in creating qualified cyber security professionals in the days to come to meet the ever-growing demand.
