World Health Assembly to be virtual

GENEVA, May 15, 2020 – Due to measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission, the 73rd session of the WHO’s highest decision making body World Health Assembly will be held as a virtual meeting for the first time ever. The agenda has been limited to two days, May 18 and 19.

The Assembly will be webcast live. The proceedings can be followed at: https://www.who.int/about/governance/world-health-assembly/seventy-third-world-health-assembly

The WHA is usually held annually in Geneva and attended by delegations from all WHO 194 Member States.
