MUMBAI, Sep 9 (BNC Network) Reliance-backed eCommerce platform Fynd has announced Social Doori in continuation of its Save the World initiative to spread awareness about COVID-19 and to encourage social distancing through the game experience.

The hyper-casual game revolves around an Avatar selected by the user to drive the social safety messages to the engaged player. In the game, the Avatar is positioned in a public place and seeks to maintain a safe social distance from others in the area.

"During the lockdown, our team started experimenting with games to encourage people to stay safe from COVID-19. We think this is an engaging way to share information about the social distancing measures," says Farooq Adam, Co-founder at Fynd.

Corona Striker, launched by Fynd in April communicated the COVID-19 disease prevention information to the engaged player. Social Doori—like Corona Striker also intuitively shares the importance of social distancing through the gameplay. The game is Made-in-India and completely ad-free.
